It was an answer to the prayers of many, including Pope Benedict and Ingrid Betancourt, who was rescued after seven years in captivity with the same revolutionaries. Betancourt said that this rescue owed its success to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to Whom this month of June is dedicated.
