Cuban Human Rights Activist Slams U.N. for Ignoring Torture of Prisoners in Cuba

Well, no wonder.  Who is the current head of the U.N. General Assembly?  It’s no other than Maryknoll Father Miguel d”Escoto, founder of Maryknoll’s radical Marxist publishing company Orbis Books and the 1985-86 recipient of the Lenin Peace Prize.  Of course he isn’t going to criticize fellow comrades Fidel and Raul Castro.  D’Escoto has had no problem condemning Israel’s assault upon the Palestinians and its continued occupation of their territory, but when it comes to Communist atrocities he’s deaf, dumb, and blind.
