As the feast day of St. Dominic de Guzman is celebrated Tuesday, Aug. 8, members of the Dominican order and thousands of Catholic laity are continuing a nine-month novena before heading to Washington, D.C., for a rosary pilgrimage in September.
The novena was organized by the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph and will culminate in a national pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 30 for those who can attend. Report is here.
