Like the Wise Men we all have a star or stars whose holy brilliance and leadership gave us the Faith and showed us the road to salvation. For most of us it was a person, parents usually. For others, it was a book, but behind the book was a person. The Magi must have read the prophets (persons) or how would they have known about “His Star” and the Adorable King of the Jews. They followed the Light from Heaven, in their case a physical star that led them to the Christ Child. Monsignor Pope has another brilliant meditation for us, this one on the Wise Men.
