Drunken, lunatic soccer fans, noted for rampaging violence at these sports events, were not happy enough with a victory; they wanted blood. As society sinks lower and lower into moral depravity one wonders where the insanity will stop. This was not two or three deranged monsters; there were twenty of them. The victim’s wife was also attacked and a friend is in critical condition. May the soul of Kevin McDaid rest in peace.
Catholic Culture reports: Armed with clubs, Protestant soccer fans drove into the Catholic district of Coleraine, Northern Ireland, and bludgeoned the first Catholic they could find. Kevin McDaid, 49, was killed, while his wife and a neighbor were injured. Seven men have been arrested in connection with the attack. Link to full story here.
