This is a sad story in one way, but in a higher way a most honorable one. The doctor brought Samuel Forrest’s newborn son out of the delivery room to give him to his father. The baby had Down Syndrome. To Samuel Forrest, his child, Leo, was a precious gift.
Not so for Mrs Forrest. She refused her own baby. She told her husband that if he did not give up the baby she would divorce him. He chose his son. Apparently the mother did as she threatened. Mr. Forrest lost his welcome in his wife’s family home in Armenia and was left destitute. With what little money he had he decided to fight for his son, and beg for help. He set up a GOFUNDME page on a website and the donations have been pouring in. Yes, there are wonderful people in this world. God bless them. Here is the story.
