Jeremiah Denton, Catholic War Hero and Prisoner of Viet Cong RIP

Over seven years a prisoner in Hanoi, the valiant father of seven, died Friday, March 28, at the age of 89. There are probably other posts, but this tribute by Debbie Lord just caught my attention.

Denton, who spent 7½ years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam and later won election to the U.S. Senate from Alabama, died Friday in Virginia Beach, Va.
