This diocese is one of the most thriving in the country for vocations, but the secular paper’s Tom Ryan has issues with the Church spreading the Faith in Africa. It’s telling for the blatant anti-catholicism of today’s media that such a stupid article as this one would be published by any respectable newspaper. You expect to see it in a Tony Alamo comic book.
CWN reports: The Kansas City Star has published on its Midwest Voices page a short article by Tom Ryan, one of the newspaper’s reader advisors, that refers to the presence of the Catholic faith in Africa as “colonialism” and mocks papal vestments. More here.
