If the Supreme Council won’t terminate the membership of such disgraceful pretenders, why don’t the local councils, where such politicians joined the fraternity, go ahead and do so on their own? Then, let the higher ups deal with it. As Phil Lawler points out in his article here for Catholic Culture, what is Catholics “knighthood” for if it can’t provide more than lip service on the abortion issue? We are talking about murder. Would the Supreme Council hesitate to terminate the membership of someone who funded Murder Inc.? Surely not. And the abortion industry is doing far worse than what Mafia killers did. What kind of men are these “knights” who are afraid to oust members who take tax payers dollars in order to pay baby killers?
