Moslem Convert Plans to Establish Political Party to Defend Christendom

Magdi Cristiano Allam is a convert on a mission. Our teacher, Brother Francis, himself a Semite, used to say, in good humor, that we Japhites tend to be too cerebral about religion and that the Semites are more visceral. In other words no Japhite could have said: “But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, not hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth” (Apoc. 3:16). Let us pray for this zealous Egyptian journalist that God will protect him and grant him success.

Catholiconline: ROME (Times On Line) – An Egyptian-born writer who was baptised by Pope Benedict XVI last Easter after converting to Christianity from Islam has announced that he has founded a political party to “defend Christian Europe” which would field candidates in next June’s European elections.

Magdi Cristiano Allam, 56, said the party, “Protagonists for a Christian Europe”, would work to defend Europe’s Christian values, which were threatened by secularism and moral relativism to the point where Europe risked “committing suicide”.
