The Remnant, Olivia Rao: The annual pontifical mass in honor of the Emperor Blessed Karl of Austria took place yesterday (October 21, 2017) at Mary Mother of God Church in Washington, D.C. The event, organized by the United States branch of the Blessed Karl League of Prayer, received a large turnout of around 500 people, among whom, most importantly, were His Highness Prince Dimitri Galitzine, great-grandson of Blessed Karl, and his wife, Her Highness Princess Alexandra Galitzine. The pontifical mass was celebrated by his Excellency, Bishop Athanasius Schneider, O.R.C, auxiliary bishop of the archdiocese of Astana, Kazakhstan, with Reverend D.B. Thomas as Assistant Priest, Reverend Luke Melcher as deacon, and Reverend Garrett O’Brien as subdeacon. The rest is here.
