Only 2 of 9 SC Justices Vote to Uphold California Ban on Sale of Sadistic Killer Videos to Minors

Am I missing something here? Children cannot buy cigarettes or pornography (good), but the court is saying that the state cannot prohibit their buying videos in which, virtually, women are mutilated, tortured, gagged, and killed?  The culture war goes on.

Catholic Online: On a 7-2 vote, the high court upheld a federal appeals court decision to throw out California’s ban on the sale or rental of violent video games to minors. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Sacramento had previously ruled that the law violated minors’ rights under the First Amendment. More on this here.
