Our Lady of the Holy Cross of Jerusalem

This is one of the churches called the “Seven Churches” of Rome. These seven great churches of Rome are:

1. Saint Peter’s, which is called the Vatican.

2. Saint John Lateran. It contains the heads of the Apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul.

3. Saint Mary Major, where the crib of the Infant Jesus is kept.

4. Saint Paul-outside-the-Walls.

5. The Church of the Holy Cross of Jerusalem.

6. Saint Laurence-outside-the-Walls.

7. Saint Sebastian-outside-the-Walls.
