The signatories — among them Bishop Athanasius Schneider — affirm “that each and every marital act must of necessity retain its intrinsic relationship to the procreation of human life.” With reference to different papal statements, the prelates point out that, with God’s help, it is possible to live out the generosity toward new life as desired and sought by God Himself.
