Red Sox Jacoby Ellsbury Steals Base Five Times in One Game

Sports update: Well, I don’t post sports stories unless they have to do with the Faith, but I have to make an exception. Last night Ellsbury broke the all-time Boston record for steals. And how often does a pitcher hit a grand slam? 53 times, actually, since 1954. Chicago Cubs hurler Travis Wood did it yesterday in a win against the White Sox. Another pro pitcher posted a record that may never be broken. In 1966, Tony Cloninger, of the Denver Rockies, hit two grand slams in one game. There you have it.
