Maike Hickson has just informed us that the formidable Cardinal Carlo Caffarra passed away. Maike and her husband Robert had been in correspondence with him, encouraging him in his fight for moral integrity and the family. He was very warm with the Hicksons.
Catholic Herald: Cardinal Carlo Caffarra, one of the four cardinals who submitted the ‘dubia’ to Pope Francis, has died.
The cardinal served as Archbishop of Bologna for 11 years from 2004 to 2015, and was created Cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI in 2006. More here.
