It’s old news to traditional Catholics, but good to see the record posted now on Catholic World Report website. Edward Pentin doesn’t mention the masonic connection however. Though there certainly were many communists who infiltrated the Church in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond (China is an obvious example in more recent times), the Church was more of a target for the ultra secretive freemasons prior to Vatican II. Freemason Cardinal Rompolla was almost elected pope in 1903. God intervened and gave the Church Saint Pius X. Much more could be said on this. But the point I wanted to make is that the Metz agreement was made only two years after Pope J0hn XXIII was supposed to reveal the Third Secret of Fatima and, what should have been complementary, consecrate Russia collegially to the Immaculate Heart. Imagine if that had been done at the council!
