Saint Eric (1160)

Saint Eric was a king of Sweden, and is one of the great Catholic patrons of that country. He was called “the Father and Lawgiver of the People.” He was martyred by some pagan Danes as he was leaving a Catholic church after Mass. He was beheaded.
