The South Korean loudspeakers blast messages across the DMZ into nuclear armed North Korea focusing on the superior life available in the South. Well and good, but ‘soap operas’?
Meanwhile South Korean children living near the dangerous border “text” and “play video games” on their cell phones in disregard of the threats of dictator Kim Jong Un. This time though Kim has threatened military action by Saturday if the loudspeaker propaganda does not stop. It’s that serious. One wonders if this the “life” that South Korea is boasting of, with its birth rate one of the lowest in the world. Strange, too, is that Taiwan is also not producing children. Both anti-Communist nations rank in the top twelve of lowest birth rates world wide. Death by contraception and abortion, as is the case in Europe as well.
NBCNews: There are a lot of reasons why the world’s most fortified border is scary, but what has really rattled North Korean leader Kim Jong Un are 11 loudspeaker installations hidden among the trees just south of the boundary.
The nuclear-armed North has condemned South Korean propaganda being blasted from the speakers as equivalent to a declaration of war. Read the rest of the report here.
