One would think that the Cardinal would have a word to say about the persecution of the Church in China and the captivity of Bishop James Su Zhimin, whose whereabouts is still a Communist secret after twenty years. Rather, he is full of praise for China’s new environmental policy, comparing it with favor as he denigrates Trump on the issue.
