The History of the USS Liberty as Told to Candace Owens by Survivor Phil Tourney

Candace Owens has interviewed USS Liberty survivor Phil Tourney. The interview, embedded below, has generated a lot of interest. As of my viewing, it had been seen 3,354,979 times on YouTube. May it get many more views.

What is the USS Liberty, you ask? Here is a description from another website:

(Eric Garris/Antiwar.com) — In 1967, an American Navy spy ship came under attack by Israeli fighter jets and torpedo boats. The attack on the USS Liberty left 34 US sailors dead and 171 wounded. Israel claimed (and most official US government sources agree) that it was a case of mistaken identity. There is significant evidence to the contrary.

Candace Owens interviews one of the few living survivors of the attack, Phil Tourney. It is a fascinating and illuminating interview that no one should miss. …

Why does this event deserve to be recalled on Catholicism.org? Elsewhere on this site, I have written that “The mega-heresy of Zionism is causing actual and grave errors in faith and morals among Catholics” — a thought I developed briefly in the paragraph that follows that sentence. Besides that, so many of the horrors that are taking place in the Middle East right now are the result of American support for the Zionist State. Many Americans who identify as Christian are also committed Christian Zionists and believe that Israel needs our unquestioning and unqualified support because it is “our only ally in the region.”

The value of this interview is not only its telling the truth about what happened in the Mediterranean on June 8, 1967, but its disclosure of the treachery of our the federal government on that day and every day since by covering it up. The American deep state does not serve the interests of the American people. It never did.

The truth concerning this one incident could lead to the conversion of Christian Zionists, who should, instead, believe that the Catholic Church is Israel and Zion, an idea that would be considered utterly uncontroversial throughout the Church’s bi-millennial history until the heresy of Zionism made it controversial in the Anglosphere. (Without understanding the truth that the Catholic Church is Israel and Zion, so much of our traditional liturgy makes no sense.)
