The Lepanto Institute, Carlos Caso-Rosendi: In the past few months I have found a few videos and articles, even television programs that present a “scientific” explanation of the Days of Darkness promised in Holy Scripture and Holy Tradition. I do not know if that is a concerted effort to distort the prophetic warnings, or if it is just a fad among the now conspicuous anti-Christian crowd. Some falsely invoke studies by NASA or other reputable sources such as universities or well known scientists. A laughable prediction was made for this coming August 24, 2020 when, according to the anonymous presenter, our planet Earth is going to “go through the Dark Rift area of our local galaxy (Via Lactea or Milky Way.)
