US Bishops Visiting Palestine Lament Injustice of Occupation

What is missing in all this? What is missing in this is a call for the conversion of the Moslems and all non-Catholics. Good example is fine, essential, but so is the invitation, explicit and in charity, to believe in Jesus and enter the one, true Church. Otherwise, the conflict in the Mideast will continue. Our Lady of Fatima can conquer all. She needs apostles who proclaim Christ and His mother as one and inseparable in their Hearts. The village of Fatima, in Spain, as many of our readers know, was named after a Moslem princess who converted to the Faith when she married the Count of Ourem in the 12th century.

CNA: “The unresolved conflict and occupation undermine human dignity and the ability of Christians to raise their families,” the bishops wrote. “Israeli policies in East Jerusalem prohibit Christians who marry someone from outside the City to remain there with their spouse, and security policies restrict movement and confiscate lands, undermining the ability of many Christian families to survive economically. The harsh realities of occupation force them to leave. Muslims also suffer similarly, but have fewer opportunities to emigrate.” Full report is here.
