By a vote of 19 to 10. Most of these state senators are probably Mormon. It’s an absolute tragedy that Catholic state senators and congressmen have been mandating sex ed and paying teachers with tax payer dollars to corrupt school children with their immoral courses in public schools for over forty years. For the most part, Catholic schools were and are not much better, following suit just a few years behind the public schools. Parents, who for the most part have surrendered their moral sovereignty to the state, have allowed this usurpation of parental authority for so long that now children in most states are brainwashed into thinking that anything goes where there is mutual consent. Biology has been replaced by how-to-do-sex in co-ed classes as low as sixth grade (today, I’ve read, in some cities, even lower). Our schools and the media have produced a generation of amoral sex addicts and perverts. When my mother went to the capital state house in New Jersey to fight sex-ed in the late sixties, do you know who composed a good part of the protagonist opposition to concerned parents? Priests and religious sisters! That’s right! With their bishops’ approval — priests and sisters. Do you know what happened to a good Catholic pastor from New Jersey when he went in the late seventies to the Congregation of the Clergy to Rome to protest what he deemd the “pornographic sex-ed curriculum” that his bishop was foisting upon Catholic schools in the diocese of Newark? He was told by a secretary in that Congregation to return to his diocese and obey his bishop. That’s right! Don’t obey God’s law, obey your bishop! The priest of whom I speak was forced in conscience to leave his parish and open a traditional Latin Mass chapel in the next town. May good Father Paul Wickens rest in peace (July 8, 2004+)
CBS Las Vegas: State senators in Utah have voted in support of a bill, now destined for gubernatorial approval, that will allow schools throughout the state to drop their sex education programs, if they so choose. Read more on this here.
