More than 380 million Christians suffer high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith

According to Open Doors International, “More than 380 [million] Christians suffer high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith.” Further, one in seven are persecuted worldwide, while one in five suffer persecution in Africa and two in five in Asia.

The ten nations with the worst violations, according to Open Doors, are North Korea, Somalia, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, Eritrea, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan.
