Oakland A’s Minor League Standout Leaves Bat Behind and Will Enter Norbertine Abbey Seminary

I have just written an article about a Norbertine priest, Blessed James Kern. His biography was translated from the German by Father Hubert Szanto who was one of the founders, along with recently deceased Abbot Ladislas Parker, of the monastery. As I mentioned in the article I spent three years at Saint Michael’s Seminary before it was an abbey, from 1971 through 1973.
