Pope Tells Synod Fathers Today’s False Gods Must Fall and It May Take Martyrs

The Holy Father’s twenty minute address to the Mid East Synod gathered in Rome was unscripted and right from the heart. In particular he cited the greed of  anonymous financial oligarchs who enslave men and who have a destructive power which “threatens the world.”
