Leslie-Anne Knight’s request for another four term as head of the Catholic organization was denied by Rome. She was not happy and gave an interview to the liberal paper, National Catholic Reporter, in which she expressed her objections and views. Here’s a clip from the CNA report:
In an interview with the National Catholic Reporter published on March 2, Knight suggested that the Holy See was out of touch with Caritas and blasted its plan to modify practices in place in favor of a greater emphasis on evangelization. Read more on this here.
