Water: The Gift of Life

Father Feeney had a wonderful appreciation of water, both as an element of life for the body and as God’s chosen matter for our new life, as His children, which we receive in baptism. I know he would have appreciated this article, especially coming from a medical doctor with Catholic instincts.

“So what is it about water that makes us so refreshed and increases our vitality? Maybe it is because we are made up of water.  Actually, 60 – 70% of our bodies are water. We have both intracellular (in our cells) and extracellular (outside our cells) water and the two are vital for keeping us alive and vital!
