Where’s the Beef?

Growing Georgia: A friend of mine has a sign at her dairy to greet all visitors. It reads something like “it takes years to grow a glass of milk.” From selecting the right sire, getting the cow bred, hoping she has a heifer, and the time it takes for her to be old enough to be milked, you’ve got a major investment in time waiting for that first glass of milk.
