In reading the quotes from this news clip I see that there is no addressee named to whom these forty “prayers” are directed. So, I looked up the referenced promoter of the prayers, Faith Aloud, and, sure enough, the prayers are not directed to any supreme being. Rebecca Turner, however, director of the pro-abortion Faith Aloud group, calls herself “Christian,” a member of the Disciples of Christ Church. In fact she is even a “Reverend.” Day 40 of the prayer list intentions reads: “Today we give thanks and celebrate that abortion is still safe and legal.” Give thanks to whom? Day 27 reads: “Today we give thanks for abortion providers around the nation whose concern for women is the driving force in their lives.”
